I don't even know why you people are complaining about this and 3D at this point. For one, you can turn it off if you don't want it so its not like you have to use it. And they actually have started to improve things by actually working to make it more integral to the content, so that 3D and high framerate stuff is improving.
And for the people having an actual discussion instead of "OMG I had to walk by some TVs in a store and they looked so bad!", doesn't it also help with games as well (depending on how they do it, but like black frame insertion, doesn't that help visual perception when playing games; the normal interpolation which adds processing and thus lag isn't typically good for games though)?
