aborted attempt to go flying. I rented a Cessna but the jerkoff before me didn't refuel it. then the stupid self serve pump would only authorize $45 in gas on my credit card after multiple attempts so I could only fill one side. by that time I was so pissed off I decided not to push my luck and went home. so end result is I drove a plane on the ground for about 500' 😉
 
My wife and three daughters went off to visit my mom's goat farm in Arkansas... I got up at 6a to see them off...

I had the day off and it was rain/snow today so I built a fire at about 10a and read Jonathan Srange & Mr. Norrell. Made a pot of tea, had brie and crackers for lunch. decided to go for a walk, in the decidedly crappy weather. Walked about 1.5 miles there and back. Came home took a shower, played Battlefield Vietnam, resumed reading, tweaked my startup and registry settings, decided to download The Blind Swordsman from Movielink, checked out ATOT while the download preceded, got caught up in the Pink Floyd thread, am currently blasting Dark Side of the Moon and answering this post.
 
Eh, just working here still. Gonna leave in about 10 minutes, have a nice dinner, and watch Netflix DVDs that came in the mail yesterday. Probably gonna pop in the Incredibles first.
