so you think our country is being destroyed eh?

going to third anniversary of the war march? Waiting for democrats to grow a pair? buying a passport? calling senators? Not much else to do really.

If someone wants to donate a few bil I will start a real progressive non corporate news/music cable channel.

I seem to be short a couple of thousand million it seems though. 😉

Curing Hepatitis C. I figure less dead people is good for the economy.

Isn't actually curing things bad for the economy? Can't have drug companies going bankrupt you know!

Actually, I misspoke - the likely outcome will be a treatment, rather than a cure...

putting on my tinfoil hat, sitting on my porch while cleaning my shotgun and waiting for the inevitable revolution

I know what I'm not going to do: support the delusional self-proclaimed candidate for the presidency.

Trying to raise consciousness and to explain to people why global labor wage arbitrage is destructive. This discussion forum seems like a fine place to start.

Actually, from what I can tell, it won't matter. You could put forth the most convincing argument and explanation and the evidence in the news media could continue to pile up and most people would still retain their faith in laissez-faire capitalism.

We're doomed, IMHO. Our nation will end up as a huge example for scholars of Darwin and Malthus.

Indicated directly by your savings and spending habits. 😀

What am I doing? Becoming rich so I'll be on top when it all crumbles! 😀

I don't like the erosion of our civil rights. I don't like the possibilty that I could be spied upon simply because something I'm doing is perceived in the wrong way.

Social Security and Medicare are going to bankrupt the nation if we don't do something about them. They need to be privitized so eventually the costs will come down on both of them. Our gigantic budget deficit (which hurts our trade deficit) isn't helping our country out either. We spend $325 billion a year on interest for our debt. That money could be much better spent.

I'm breeding patriots faster than Todd33 can breed communists. I'm also excellent at changing peoples minds on P&N.

In all seriousness, I vote, call/write elected officials. Participate in local charities, try to build a nest egg.
