Works great on one PC, but I use 5 or 6 in different locations, much easier to have it all in one spot on the web.
i never used gmail until i went on a long vacation and could only use my gmail account....when i came back, i forwarded all my accounts to gmail and use it exclusively now. the fact that google just released a calendar sealed the deal for me.
i recommend it to my friends and family. those that have started using it completely (and not half-assed) haven't gone back.

Yawn! Gmail is highly overrated, like Firefox. There's just nothing appealing about either one that makes it so great.
exactly...it's the shortcomings and security breaches of their competitors that keep us with gmail and firefox:laugh:

However, if that's really accurate, how come my mailboxes are not hijacked, my not identity stolen, and the fact that my computer is secured and spyware/virus free?!?If you kids wouldn't go to those stupid pr0n sites, you wouldn't have to worry about browser security. I've had my Yahoo! mailbox since most of you were babies.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I can't stand Gmail. I still want the ability to file my mail the way I see fit. I want folders. I hate having everything in my Inbox. I don't like the label system Gmail uses. I've also found their POP access to be horrible.

I use gmail almost completely now, I still check my hotmail is account but I get so much damn spam in my hotmaill inbox its not even funny. They have a list of blocked domains but the list tops out at like 200 domains or something and im getting 15-20 spam emails a day in hotmail. Gmail, I get none. Gmail FTW

gmail's actually the most "hands off" email service I use. (the others being evilemail and softhome) But I only use it for mailing lists. Softhome won't retain messages unless I pay them now, and evilemail has a "do it yo self" filter. (I currently have hotmail blacklisted at that address)

i've got gmail, a yahoo and a walla one. my yahoo is my "main" one simply cause it was first and everybody has that email. the walla one is a spam/registration site email. i use it for registering and stuff like that. my gmail is starting to become more dominant. only prob is that it doesn't do hebrew very well. in fact, with any language other then english, it sucks. but for other purposes, it rocks. the AJAX gui is nice, quick, and responsive. plus the spam filter is good and it is hardly ever down. plus with almost 3GB os storage, you really never have to throw and email away!
