I use Gmail almost exclusively now. Too bad though- I missed an email about getting a geography dept honors cord because I don't check my school email as often.

I've got a gmail account, but I hardly ever use it. Use my domain almost exclusively.

I use Gmail for almost all purposes and I'm satisfied with it.
I never run out of space and gmail (much like google) is almost never down. The spam filter is also pretty good, I get almost no junk mail.

I forward my school email to my gmail account. It's worked well so far.

I wish I could use gmail as my main but both my nick name and real name are too short for it so I have to append stuff... and that's just not cool

I don't have nor do I need a Gmail account. I use Yahoo, MSN, College webmail, and my Comcast mail accounts.. WTF would I need Gmail for? I don't find anything particularly interesting about it beside the fact people keep posting it's down every damn day... yeah, I want that, not.

I've got 2 Gmail accounts I use, one for personal stuff that I only give out to friends and family (aka REAL people) and one for everything else, from registering for sites to handling my multiple domains E-mail it's all forwarded to my Gmail account, I just can't find a better spam filter (although Cloudmark's Cloudmark Desktop is awesome it costs some $$$). Gmail's simplicity is what has me hooked. It also work's seemingly well on mobile devices.

In the Settings area of most web based e-mail applications you can tell it you want it to forward your messages to another address if not redirect all together. If your in college using PINE or some other CLI based reader, you can set up mail rules or talk to the support desk to forward the messages for you. If all else fails you can set an outlook rule to forward all incomming messages to a different address, then just leave outlook running. If you're a linux guru you can Cronjob mail to check your pop server and forward all messages to the new address.

Gmail is absolutely awsome when it comes to message management and is extremely powerful in the right (or wrong) hands. Something you might try is to forward all your existing accounts to one Gmail account, you will probably never look back ;).
