I'm going to get flamed for this, but honestly, I think handicappers have too many spaces as it is. Walmart just recently put in SIDEWAYS handicapped spots... imagine somebody parking their large handicapped van sideways in 4 or 5 spots, now imagine that space is ALWAYS reserved..... bah! Plus they have a buffer zone of like 3 normal handicapped spots on either side of the sideways spot.

OMG, You mean you have to walk 30 extra feet? The handis have it way too easy these days. I would contact your congressmen.

I remember watching some total fvckwad hop up on the trunk of a complete strangers car for parking in a handicapped spot and waited for him to return. I was more angry at that idiot than the guy who parked in the handicapped spot. This guy who parked there was some old man and this dickhead was really giving him a rash of sh!t. I thought it would come to blows and the Police would have to get involved. What a moron...:roll:

Hey...piss off...I like my preferred parking spaces...;)
However, most of the time, I park in a "regular space" instead of a handicapped space. I figure that even though I AM entitled to use them, (I have a permanent placard) there are people much more in need of them than I. OCCASIONALLY though, when I'm having an extra-bad day, I'll use them. I always hope the cops catch some dirtbag parking in them when they aren't entitled to...If they're too lazy to walk the extra few feet, they better be rich enough to contribute $300 to the system.

I would agree if there were problems with parking space as in absolutely all parking spaces were full, but that almost never happens, so walk extra 40 feet?

Last time me and a few friends were going to bennigans we saw a cop car parked across 2 spots. So i guess what you did isnt so bad. :)

I've never parked in a handicapped spot. I'm not sure I'd be up to it, would have a hard time getting in, and even then, I'd still just feel weird. I like my parking spots able-bodied thanks.

I parked in one once, but it was late and there was no sign other than the one painted on the ground. Also it was nowhere near the front door.

My mom recently got handicapped tags on her vehicle and a hang tag for when she is in another vehicle, so the other day I told her she had to start riding with me instead of with my sister when we all went out. She asked why, and I told her I wanted the good parking spots. :D

I'm sure you could qualify for the handicap spot Goose. It's just so many people fake it to get a handicap sign or have their previous one drag on forever.
I need to get one myself so I can atleast park on campus somewhere good. :)
They are bascially almost always empty taking up space.
