After a while, I'll get a dialog box, 'A running instance of Adobe has caused an error.' One button opens a page that talks about a registry change which i tried to no change. It also talks about a repair installation opetion on the Help , which I can't try because it doesn't open.

Edge is probably configured to open PDF inside Edge.

Yeah man I tried using the latest Adobe Reader about six months ago for the first time in about five years and performance/launching was so slow opening like 200KB (not MB) document, I was like you got to be kidding me. I went right back to using Edge or Firefox built-in reader.

Is anyone on Zen 4/X670e running 24H2? Microsoft has not given me the update prior to today, and when I tried to install it today, It told me my device wasn’t compatible and gave no specifics. After sfc/disk checks per the internet, the update no longer shows at all. Apparently I am stuck on 23H2, which, I am fine with except for Microsoft ending support soon-ish.

Logs yielded nothing and all of my hardware should be supported.

I am just curious if anyone on a similar platform is on 24H2.

Outside of that, I have an RTX 4090, and except for some USB devices, which I unplugged to test, (except keyboard and mouse) no go.
