Having been here off and on for the past few election cycles I have seen this same scenerio play out again and again...first with Gore, then Kerry...always the same situation with the ATPN set, super liberal and behind the socialist candidate
Now though things are a bit different, the econ is in the crapper, people are worried about their retirements, there is no "war on terror" that worries anyone....This should be a slow pitch right down the plate softball grand slam for the dems..
So my question in the form of a pollage is (Not like I suspect the answer/outcome to be any kind of a surprise), can they pull it off? or will it be yet another upset like the past two?...and if it is an upset then really what does that say about the democratic party...
I know alot of people are putting up the air of a fat lady singing for McCain, but there is still about a month away....who knows what kind of rabbit the old man can pull out of his hat...
Thoughts and opinions always appreciated.
