honestly, i cant figure out why a lot of people feel the need to troll random garbage. in some threads, people post simply to say "why did i read this?" or "i want my 5 seconds back."
i guess it should be obvious that a discussion forum is a place to discuss things, right? then why do some people say "post this on a forum where people care" or something close to it? it doesnt make any sense to me.
lets have some examples of people who arent ignorant a$$holes and have something to contribute to society in general:
El-Fenix: usually has something to say, even if it is partially trolling. he either makes his point and backs it up, or doesnt post random dumbass troll-like comments.
NFS4: do i really need to say anything? he makes a few personal posts here and there, and that is perfectly fine! that is the point of a discussion forum. he brings information and humor to the boards, which makes him a good example.
Geekbabe: sometimes i disagree with her, but she still makes valid points regardless of where her opinion falls. she is a good example for all of you idiots to see how to have a discussion instead of retarded arguements.
Viper GTS: owns people in his own special way. if you notice, he doesnt browse ATOT to post blather and stupid crap, but to make points and discuss. wow, what a concept?
4 good examples, and there are plenty more, but i dont care that much to list them all. i dont feel better after this rant either, which sucks, because i know there will be a ton of random trolling in this thread about how stupid i am and i need to get a life. oh well.
edit: oh yeah, i forgot to add this...i do a lot of random trolling myself. im trying to make a concious effort to stop as of now though. im not gonna be one of those guys that goes by "do as i say and not as i do". and enough with the brown-nosing comments. i could have picked any number of people...those were just the names that popped into my head first.
