My therapist says it's good to interact with highly emotional people. Especially when they argue over pointless things and insist that their viewpoint is the ONLY viewpoint on things.

For once because I like to debate and I am interested in politics.
Second I wanna know how Americans tick - regarding politics - as politics is the about only thing that freaks me out about (US)Americans (well yeah environmental issues do too but that is closely related)
- well I might not learn that here, but it braodens my horizon.
And gives me vastly different opinions compared to talking on a german forum.

I love to delude myself into thinking that people will read my posts and think about the ideas expressed.
The sad fact is that 99% of people have already had their minds made up for them by their peers ,or those who have loved them, and pass these ideas along like it is some universal truth that only they, and those like them, can see.

College Republicans who consider themselves the "shock troops of the right" are even funnier.

Monsta it is about basic comprehension, I said I generally differ in opinion from my peer group/social setting at any given time...not that on the whole I am going against the grain...it is called get a clue, try it you might like it.

Talking to yourself wasn't enough?:Q😉

My therapist tried to get me to ditch this forum as pointless and counterproductive, but I countered with a withering personal attack that proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that I was right and he was wrong, the sniveling little unpatriotic peacenik. Not that I have doubts. Real men don't do nuance.😀

im here because i like to listen to the looney left call themselves progressives. there has been no progress, just stagnation and eventually death of truth and morality.
