Not this weekend.

But I got a "VIP" pass to Fado Irish Pub on Monday.

Our boss might let us out of work at noon to go drink 😛
 
When is St. Patrick's Day? I'm probably going out to the bars tonight but mainly it's for a friend of a friend's birthday.
 
You don't have to be catholic to celebrate March 17th. I'm protestant, and I played in two parades plus a party last weekend, and this weekend is another parade and some bar gigs.

The one across from the Verizon Center? I had a pretty good time there before a hockey game recently. Cool boss if he lets you out at noon.

I'm off on Monday, so I'm thinking about heading out pretty early.. hehe.

My friend is trying to convince his wife to let him go to Madam Ors... if you're from STNY you know what it is 😉. He said they have some good drink specials on Monday! I think I kind of convinced her when I said what the difference is between Madam Ors and Teazers (topless + beer/liquor vs full nudity + virgin drinks... silly NY laws).
 
My birthday is on St. Patrick's Day and my friend's is a couple days later, so we and the rest of our friends are partying it up tonight. Woooot.

Shamrockfest used to be here in Ballston where I live. It's fun, but plan a contingency when you get sick of being drunk out in the sun. It's out at RFK again this year, I think, which isn't near anything except crime, so bring the addresses of a couple of bars so you can hop a cab or the metro.

Since you're on the orange line, I suggest taking it back to Farragut West and walking to Mad Hatter. Or if you don't mind transferring, we had a blast at Kelly's Irish Times last year, over by Union Station.

Have fun. I think we're starting at Four Courts for breakfast on Monday. Actually, probably staying there all day, we just don't know it yet.

Damn....Four Courts is a fun place as well. Lucky if you get the day off...since I don't and can't take the day off 🙁
