Yea... I just came in.

I see one third number of cars in the parking lot. My boss should be back tomorrow and half my team is supposed to be out.

Well, I just walked in and NO ONE is in. The other half is still on their way I suppose.

It also sucks that I have plenty of work to do...but absolutely no motivation. I wish it was like last year around. The whole dept had no work and we were literally picking our noses for 8 hours a day between Xmas and New Year.
 
just me and a couple of other people, no supervisors and its only gonna get worse until everyone comes back jan 2 which sucks when you need people here to ask questions to find out what the hell you're doing.

been in since 6 am.
 
Usually, the parking lot is full at 8am but I was able to park right in front of the door to my building. I took all of last week off, so it's nice to be able to slowly get back into things.
 
I'm about ready to leave for work. I don't have much motivation today so I'll probably call it a day early.

I worked christmas eve and christmas day for the extra cash and I'm working today as per my normal scheduled hours.

it's not slow either 🙁
 
I'm here. Had to drive my wife's car today so she could take my SUV and go shopping. Of course I left my freaking badge in my car. 🙁 So now I can't leave my office without propping the door open because my office door is card operated. I can't even ride the freaking elevators without someone to let me back in. I may drive home (20 miles) in a few just to get my badge. It's not like I'm doing anything.
 
I was in at 7:30AM, I have a project launching on the 7th. 🙁 So I'm here about to move my new blade enclosure and SAN to our datacenter...ugh!
 
I'm here 🙁 I couldn't get a vacation day for today or tomorrow (the vacation vultures actually send out request emails to HR at 12:01 on Jan 1st every year to be the first to get vacation time scheduled- we have a first come first served system and it sucks).

After the 28th, I'm off until the 2nd though, so it works out.
 
I'm at work too. I wanted to work Christmas Eve, but couldn't get it. Still getting 2 holiday days and working 4 days this week, so its not too bad.
 
I am here at work. Not too bad since I had 4 days weekend <didn't have to come to work the day before Christmas>.

Now I am thinking about take the NY Eve off to make it another 4 days weekend next week.
 
Yawn...Yup I'm at work too. Only 4 people out of the usual 13... I want to go back to bed, dammit!!

But at least I get another 4 day weekend starting on Friday!!! 🙂
 
I'll be leaving for work... now. It's going to be a ghost town. No supervisors for me. Most departments are operating on 3rd command until January...
 
I'm here. Could've taken today off, and maybe tomorrow, but I took Monday off instead.

Fine with me... most everyone is off so it's pretty quiet, and I have some work to do anyway.
