Definitely feel burned out though. Working longer hours, weekends, full time school. Haven't had a vacation out of the city in nearly 2 years. The next time I leave the city will be in December for the Rock and Roll Las Vegas Marathon.

I used to have a mostly night shift. It was usually quiet and easy going. Hated when they moved me to days.

Yes, yes it is. In my experience, i find the 6 or so hours breeze by.. and its the last 6 or so hours that drag ass.

What jobs do you guy have for these long shifts? I was doing it as an operations analyst at a hospital.

Im an Anesthesiologist, mostly waiting for traumas and on L&D on weekend nights.

Mudlogger.. Work on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. only 2 people on the rig do my job, me and my releif. We each work 12 hours since drilling for oil is a 24/7 operation.

Try some melatonin maybe? That seemed to do wonders for me.
