Ditch the GF, the stress will be immediately reduced by 50% 😛

Better yet, see if you can demote her from GF status to "Friends with benefits"...on call only.

Yeah, I am in the process of getting burnt out......

My class schedule:

Theory of Computation (finite state machines, automata theory, complexity theory)
Design of Experiments (advanced stats for science and engineering)
CSI 3 (abstract data types, graphs, red black trees, etc)
Software Engineering Principles

Not too bad actually......

Second day of classes for me and Im already tired. Between 5 classes, PT internship, a gf, working out, and trying to manage a social life at the same time, Im dead tired already.

BTW, Im taking:

Cost Accounting
Auditing
Decision Science
Ideas in Writing
Accouting Practicum

Hehehe, I am a Cost Accountant. 😛😀

Seriously? You're an accountant? If so, Im changing majors.

 Yes, I'm serious.

Psychology major, here I come

Ah Psychology...one of the few professions where you can work for years with a client, make absolutely zero progress, yet still make loads of money.

Psychology majors make lots of money? I thought it was psychiatry majors that made the money. I think psychology majors make something like $30K-$35K right out of college. Psychology majors are the joke in the college I thought.

Industrial Psych is really lucrative.
Think of the consultants in Office Space. 😉

They figure out ways to streamline companies. Many times it comes down to cutting people out. But you have to go to get a Masters for that.

I miss college. 🙁

same.

Now I crave learning stuff

Not only that, but I get tired of hearing people piss and moan about "how hard it is"
Please. These guys have a weird sense of "hard" and a warped sense of "stress".

That shedule is not grueling.... look at mine:

Mon: hmmm
Tue: hohum
Wed: ......
Thursday: 6-9p.m. photography calss
Friday: silence

I've got to be in class from 6-9! Thats crazy. Actually it like 6-7 the rest is lab. So we will see how it goes. I love college.

!!!DANGER DANGER DANGER!!!

Not really burnt out, just bored. I don't start work until Sept 18th, and I have class M-W 2:00-4:45 and T-Th 2:00-3:15 and 5:25-6:40.

Structures and Design
Structural Materials
Statistics, Probability and Reliability
Fluids, Waves, Thermodynamics, and Optics

Class every day, MWF@8 and TTH@9 to start. Blech. It's alright though, after this summer where I moved out and had to pay for everything, I am looking forward to getting back to school. Thankfully it doesn't start 'till the 21st. 😀

I don't go back to school until the end of September but I'm already dreading it. I graduated with my BS in computer science in June but decided to go back to graduate school. I'm also working full time as a developer so between full time school and full time work I don't think I'll have any free time. I thought turning 21 would be more fun than this.

My schedule got fvcked. I'm only signed up for 9 hours right now. And I can't take classes in the afternoon because I work full time. Oh well, hopefully Wake won't care that I'm only taking 9 hours 😛 This sure would be an easy semester though if they let it happen 🙂

i hate hearing college kids whine about school. School is so goddamn easy compared to living in the real world.

Many of us live in the "real world" while going to school full time.

I can take the gf off your hands, like we could work out a schedule. I get her MWF, you get her the rest of the week?

whatever you say man

School was harder. Real world is cake -- No homework. I hated homework. And I can work at a job where I don't have to do BS like write an argumentative essay about a period in time I don't care about so I can prove core competencies. It's as difficult as you want it, rather than (trying to be) a standard level of difficulty to attain a degree.

Yup..my gf is making 28k.

As for joke...i dont know, i know some dumbass business majors...business info systems is seriously the dumbest sh1t ive ever heard of...

Mech E here, layed it out so I have my final engineering class this semester and the rest are general requirement classes.

It's just the homework that kills me. 35 hours at work a week and taking 15 credits of classes doesn't bother me. Having to do homework at the end of the day does.

Thats if they can find a job. They're something like 50 gazillion pysch majors at every school so there's a huge oversupply. Look it up, its a fact.
