you know, the first one where the TV is all messed up and the phone rings and someone on it says "You have 7 days...."

what did you think of it? i mean if the phone rang while you were watching it would it scare you at all?
 
You mean the japanese original, where the little girl comes crawling out of .... Yeah, I was pretty freaked out at that point. The American version lacked actors with depth. It's hard to watch the American version after you've seen the Japanese version.

Probably not. I've only sing Ringu (the Japanese version), but I didn't think it was very scary.
 
I saw it in the movie theater.... It was ok, but I've seen scarier movies. This one was just too warm and fuzzy if you ask me.
 
The movie scared the hell out of me. For the first, two weeks I had to make sure that I knew were the remotes are before if I go to bed.
If I were to step on the TV remote in the middle of the night, and actually turned the TV on; I think I would have sh!t myself.

LOL yeah I thought it was a scary movie too. I've only seen it once and that's enough.
 
Never saw it...never saw the second one..

never saw the Japanese versions (which according to my mom and brother are WAY scarier)....

which kinda explains why i haven't seen any. lol.

I watched the first movie with a neighbor in my old apt. complex. She was freaked about that movie and said she had nightmares the next night.

So being a good neighbor, I took this personal information about her emotional distress and rolled my TV over to the front of her apt's door with an extension cord.

It was just snow with the volume on high but muted. Then I had a friend call her from a blocked number. They ran the seven days shpeal on her. I heard her screaming "who the hell, man!" then I rang her doorbell and ran. As soon as she opened the door, I unmuted from down the hall.

LOL...

She fricken freaks and fell backwards onto her couch and almost cried from screaming before I ran in and apologized, whilst laughing.

It took her a couple days to start talking to me again. But her nightmares are gone now.
