So... who still plays DiabloII?

i havent been on sence 1.11 was released, only played US East HC Ladder, bot a nunch of chars that are godly left from after the switch but thats about it
 
I actually quit about a year ago, sold all 5 of my accounts me and a friend shared on ebay, easy money 😛 I came back around the beginning of august when 1.11 was released but then moved to florida for school in the middle of august. had crappy internet here, but just got playable internet today, and my account i started in august was still there. so im pretty happy. and anubis, I just started a USEast HC Ladder char today.... if you are bored let me know :laugh:
 
I have a Dell 6000 and these older games run fine on it. It's ok, but it's not that different than Solitare at times. Just a whole lot of clicking.
 
Must not start playing again....

I'm sure the cheating is totally out of control by now. I usually played most when it wasn't so bad (initial release, expansion release, 1.10 release).
 
ha.. i just bought a used copy + expansion pack from FS/FT.. played Diablo when it came out and loved it.. hopefully DII will get here soon.
 
My son just turned 12 and has been playing Sacred and Sacred:Underworld. Told him about it being a Diablo clone and he asked "What's Diablo?"

Well now, I can't believe that I have neglected his education so much😱

So I installed D2 plus LOD onto two comps and now we are going through it together. I am being a cold sorc (Ice Princess) and my son is playing as a Druid (Werewolf build)

So far he is really enjoying it.
 
I wasted so many hours playing Diablo and Diablo II/E. My wife almost divorced me because I was playing it sooo much! LOL
 
The ladder resets are great times to play. I usually start up and play a few characters during resets. I've already had my fun with this season. I'm sure by now everything godly has been duped and high runes are the standard currency.

You absolutely have to install the first one too. Sacred is nice and all, but not nearly as addictive. I got a free copy of Sacred for putting up the most impressive character from the demo 🙂
 
good times? how about no social life. i never used a bot...EVER. 10000 mephisto runs. the game started to suck after 1.09 so i stopped playing. does anybody know what an 08 valor was worth on ebay? i had 2...
 
I do, but being used to graphics like Doom3, HL2 and FEAR...it hurts my eyes... and my feelings.... knowing that such a great game is limited only in the graphics department

Then look forward to Hellgate: London. It looks NICE, and it'll be just as fun. If it isn't, it'll be the biggest disappointment of my life.
 
Man I think im going to play D2 , only played D1 and thought it was cool. After only 2 months playing WoW im already bored.

alot. me and a friend shared 3 accounts about 2 years ago, sold all 3 for $1000 USD, split it for $500 each. the account was full of everything, but a legit 08 valor was hard to find... they always kept disappearing.
 
I bought the expansion again yesterday now that two of my brother in-laws are into the game again. I played for ~2 years for when it first came out. After starting a character this morning, I was remembering Blood Raven runs in the stress test when barb was the only character type and everyone was wondering what the chat jewel did.

Good feeling starting out fresh after a several year haitus where seeing a rare drop in the first area is an upgrade. I'm sure I'll soon get frustrated with all the cheatin' twinkin' "Rush plz" whores, but whatever. I mostly play in private games anyway unless I need to find a full game to just gain levels in.

Now that I nearly have 4 60s in WoW, I need a diversion for when I would normally be soloing in WoW, I think Diablo II will fit nicely. WoW for scheduled raid/group time and Diablo for 'soloing' time.
