True they still do have a life. But at a time of crisis in the country bying shoes should not be on your to do list for the day. Thank god the fire fighters in NY on 911 were thinking in this manner.

It's a propaganda piece. If the local and state governments had asked for help before it happened, I doubt she would have been out there. They did not want Fed help at first so what should she have been doing? Please don't tell me you are taking everything from Spike Lee at face value.

I didn't see this but did they include the video of the La Governor wondering to an aide if she should have asked for help sooner prior to a television appearance?

No they didn't show that. But they did talk about how Bush gave her a couple of options and she said she would have to take time to think about it.

Didn't fit the film's agenda. I'm sure Nagin came off as a hero too.

They talked about how Nagin was just a poor fellow that had too much in front of him... but somehow he was reelected.
