Sad to say, but modern American politics seems to weed out rational types and all that are left are some variety of total buffoons sporting either elephant or donkey labels. In such a situation it would be nice to have some more rational third parties but when you are talking libertarians, you are talking non starters also.
...and votes for Perot in 1992 got us Clinton... so you're right. And the other danger of third parties is that they will play the role of spoiler, splitting the vote and allowing the greater evil to win. And voting for Nader in 2000 probably doomed Gore--and we got GWB.

Well if her opponent were Newt, Mitt or some other Repulican of their ilk I might. Regarding McCain, it would depend on his stances when he does run (I mean his real stances, not the ones he's stating now for the sake of party unity)

She will never make it to the ballot box.

I really know about zero of her stances, but I can say I find her highly irritating on the subject of video games and her continued stance of censorship towards them.
Looking at her website, she's always very careful to not give an opinion on the Iraq matter, so that doesn't sit well with me either. Be for or against, please - but be something.
