So who is working today?

I actually like working days like this. Almost no traffic. Easy to find parking spots. Office is super quiet and we always close early

Nope. I'm gonna play with one of my saws today. Get it tuned up, then take it to work. I was considering selling the powerhead cause I already have a newer version of the saw, but it'll be a good one to keep at work when I have down time to cut.

No, I wish. I have to run around today to shop for Christmas gifts for the party tomorrow. It's going to be nightmare.

My office is located in a pretty large building that is usually buzzing with activity from 7am-7pm and tons of people. Today its a ghost town in a cool eerie post apocalyptic kinda way. I walked through some of the deserted office areas and got the motion sensing lights flickering on and buzzing. Saw only a single other person outside our section of the building

Hootie whooo

Damned straight, baby. Up $30K on ledger this month. Jan will be a ghost town.

My kid asked if I was actually going to call past dues on Christmas eve. I told him he won't be getting a new Mustang GT for Christmas because of those past dues. I think that kind of clarified it for him.

Merry Christmas, you mooks.

As always...not me...unless you consider moving into a new (to us) house working...

(and moving is MUCH harder work than when I used to work for a living)

Heck no. Put my OOO up last Thursday and don't expect to be back until January 7th. Of course, if something comes up I will take the call, but nothing proactive.

I am, but I have nothing to do. So I'll kill time, drink a lot of coffee and eat a lot of Christmas cookies and will cut out shortly after lunch.

Unemployed.

But also not christian so not celebrating it anyway. And at work it tends to be one of the easiest days (unless you work retail ..) and often paid overtime too, so, yay !

How many kneecaps?

I'm only taking tomorrow and new years day off over the next 2 weeks. I'm negative PTO right now because I just went to Grand Cayman so I don't want to take more time off right now.

You don't have to be Christian to celebrate Christmas. It's a celebration of the best time of year when the nights are long, the air smells good, and the booze and treats flow freely. I'm about as Christian as my cat is, and this is my (close)second favorite time of year after autumn. God Jul!

F that dawg. We're closed today and tomorrow (although there always has to be someone on-call/watching the production system), I got Wednesday off, and I"m only working Thursday and Friday, though it'll be remote. My favorite week of the year cause I get the most time off and I get to come home for a week; the only thing that would make it better is if it was during the summer.
