For me it would be one of our new guys. He makes all kinds of excuses on why he doesn't do things right. Nothing is ever his fault, but he is the kind of guy who will never admit he is wrong. Today we had the director of training in our store. Well this guy starts in with the director and tells him about a thousand different reasons that our training sucks. Bad move. The director is one of those guys that you can call whenever you want for whatever reason and he will help you. No questions, no hesitation, he will just help.

So who is your problem child?

I worked for my father for almost 5yrs. It really was destroying our relationship. I stopped working for him at the end of Febuary, and we are kewl again. So, it was my father.

The other day, in addition to not wiping his ass after his noon sh!t, he has a cold ... he approaches me and is in danger of getting too close and says "I tried downloading MSN messenger but when I installed it, it said 'could not locate library' or something like that". I just hurriedly say "I have no idea!" so he will skulk back away from me as quickly as possible.

A little 16 year old that acts like he is Mr. Badass. He is suppose to be a "HARDCORE" Voto Loco by talking back to people and saying bad words every other word. I almost kicked his ass once but the store owner was their and I did not feel like getting fired from my job.

We got a guy who leaves half-eaten food all over his desk and has 1/2 inch of crumb build up all over the floor around his chair (No janitor in our area, we must vacuum ourselves). On top of that he is a whiney SOB. "I didn't have enough time to do it right", "Why don't you critisize other people's work the same way" (we do), etc, etc, etc.

There are two different types of dislike: one is the dislike of someone as an employee and one as a person.

I pretty much like everyone at my work. Some things do get annoying after a while.

-Our new hire has called in 3 times already in the past two months that she's been working. A couple days ago, she brought a note in from her doctor saying that she can't work for a week. I understand that some people can't help getting sick (I know that at least one call-in wasn't illness-related), but other places wouldn't be so lenient with her absences.

-One girl has worked there for about 4 years. She knows what she's doing, but she's been known to be condescending towards customers and co-workers...she also is chronically late to work (about 7 minutes every day) and in a bad mood.

Where do you work that a 'Voto Loco' thinks he can talk back to customers and say bad words every other word?

Was a guy that worked here some years ago. WARNING - don?t ever never employ a religious fundie fanatic!
He actually looked and acted like FRISK (the republican guy).
Naturally, he was divorced (no woman could live with THAT).
Had two teen kids. Loved to torture them with words and mind games.
Shaved his head bald once, after losing a bet with his teen son.
Wanted to baptize me in the company pond. (he thought I needed religion)
Brought in a boom box once, set it 3 feet from my desk, and played his religious tapes all night long.
Had many temper tantrums.
Hated his x-wife because she let their kids watch HBO.
Claimed his x-wife was having "men" in the house (a house that she got in the devoice), because he could smell "sulfur" when he went there to pick up the kids.
Yelled at his kid on the phone once, made the kid cry, then hung up with a glee saying "I loved doing that".
A REAL sicko!
He transfered to days after one-year and when the company seen how he was, he was fired within one month.
All I could say was "I TOLD YOU SO (he was a psycho)!!!"
And I felt I should have received combat pay, having worked one year with that squirrel.

Megan Stanislow. Formally Megan Reynalds.
Evil Woman. Totally useless at everything she did, but complained constantly about lack of respect.

I have so many stories I probably could have written a short novel.
But time and anger has pushed most of it from my mind.

I despise our one of our Business Analysts. She takes things way too personally, so I have to be ultra careful with words around her. She takes criticism so personally that I've made her cry at least 5 times since she's been with the company for 1.5 years.

It's not that she's not a nice person - she definitely is outside of work. She just lacks the professionalism to understand the difference between an attack on her character and a suggestion for improvement.

Maybe it's the way I speak to people, but everyone I've asked has said it's not me, and when I brought up my displeasure with working with her to my bosses, they told me to be patient with her because this was her first "real" job, so she's not used to professional criticism.

Argh. Grow up!

its the "new guy" for me. We are a small office, myself, my boss, a PT lady(who is fairly new) and the new NEW guy. He is arrogant and even though he makes less than me, he thinks he is above me. He will not answer the phones unless told to do so. He has been "in the business" for six years yet he cannot do simple processes...

arghh... AND, he sings LOUDLY with the oldies station.

I'm neutral towards everybody, I hate them all equally :p

Nah I have no bones to pick on with anybody. Hell nobody would even know I'm at work were it not for the daily email of stats indicating if I were or not. Only saw my supervisor once and never even said a word to her once all week this week. On a per week basis I'd say I come in contact with my fellow colleagues and boss once, that's it. :) Nobody to come bitching at me. No reason to hate me if you don't even see me 99% of the time during the week.

At the helpdesk there is this one guy that is total pansy. He pretends to be busy all the time and when he does answer the phone, he can't follow simple procedures with the customer. How hard is it to at least attempt to have the customer boot into safe mode and start a virus scan? He also fails to understand contact times. "Anytime" and after 5 is pretty generic.

Hmm, can't decide between 2 people:
#1: The Whinner. Complains about everything, and wants everybody do him favors.
#2: The Lazy Guy Who Doesn't Give a Sh!t. Always in the wrong place at the right time.

Just about every nurse on my floor. I work as a unit clerk (see secretary) in a local hospital to get some pocket change while in college. Working in a hospital sucks for guys. All the nurses there just bitch and BITCH and BITCH about everything and they each think they always do the job right. I just shut my trap and do my work and wait for the day i take a bat to each and every one of their faces so they'll shut up too.
