For those of you that wanna make life easier waxing etc, below is the 7424 I use, I own a detailing business and this thing rules. I got mine for $99.00 but dont remember where online, so do some searching.

Porter Cable 7424

CoastalTool.com is the cheap place now.

$ 109.00 I saw that other places also, still a decent price for this polisher.

Seeing that you're in Cali, are you anywhere near LA? I might seek your service for detailing. Do you have a website? What are your rates?

Orange County business, so L.A isnt in my area. I am in Newport Beach alot.

Where in OC? Do you have a shop or you travel?

Mobile, my truck has 100 gallons of water, a generator chemicals etc.

For $119 this is a great option ($109 gets you the 6" counterwieght too), 6" counterweight + a Lake Country 6" hook & loop contour pad. I use the wave system but I do still use that hook & loop pad a bit.

I just use the weight that came with mine, most of my clients cars are new so they hire me for the upkeep more then doing full details. I did however swap to a Velcro backing plate and pads. Woot found the place I got mine, its $109.00 also now.
