Hello from a fellow delivery driver. I'm working from 4:30 to 2:10-2:45 tonight. We close at 2 AM, but if 20 people order between 1:50 and 1:59, we still need to get the job done, so that's why it could be so late. And the night shift always starts at 4:30. No time and a half, and it probably won't be busy until after the fireworks. It's too nice out. I don't think is was busy on the 4th last year either.

GRRRR!

I'm burned out on this crappy job, but the schedule (3 days a week, only job right now, I'm a student out on my own) and the money are both good for me.

Crap! I'd quit, but my landlord really likes to get his rent from me, and I need a place to live.

I hear that. I hate the job, but where else am I gonna make (on most nights) equivalent to $18 an hour for sittin on my ass driving around listening to music and have a flexible schedule?
