i'm on the phone at a call center for a major company... selling things... sounds like the guys selling other sorts of things a few rows over are working harder than the people in my department. theres like 17 people working in this dept and an average of about 13 available and 2 not taking calls.

I'm an internet developer who has to work today because my boss took a week long cruise last week and backed the entire department up. Not a happy camper...

The private school my wife works for was in session today...and she had to administer final exams.
Really put a kibosh on the holiday for us.
