Spent most of the 3rd and 4th in Santa Cruz with some friends. Hot girls, small bikinis, sandy beach, cool Coronas, nice water. Most fun I've had in a while.

what did you end up doing?
 
Fireworks in Lansing were cancelled. It was a real bitch, they're rescheduled for tonight, but the misses can't get out of work to go see them 🙁.

That's okay, our time will come August 6th at the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival 🙂.
 
I went to watch boston's 4th celebration from the bridge the crosses over the charles near the central BU stop. I was kind of dissapointed because i waited there for 2 hours waiting the show and it turned out out to be too far away.
 
it was pretty good. woke up late (around noon), played some WoW, buddies came over around 2:00, got some food and we grilled burgers and beer basted brats over charcoal. Then we sat around just talking and having generally good times till around 8:00 at which point, some fireworks over the house, and i called it a night.

nice sounds like a lot of my college weekends.

Best one in years, probably because it's the first time I haven't had to work on the 4th. We had a BBQ, drank some beer and blew some stuff up.

What could be better? 😀
 
umm didn't do much. I am broke so i couldn't go out partying or anything. Just surfed the net all day. Played with linux and stuff.
 
I had a pretty boring 4th.

stayed up late playing WoW the night before, woke up early to move some furniture up into my apartment and install my living room/computer room AC, mid-afternoon bbq at my parents' house, and then I watched the local fireworks from the window of my computer room while playing WoW 🙂
 
my mom made us hamburgers and then we went to an industrial park in our van and watched the worst fireworks you can imagine from about 10 miles away

I did nothing.

But it was great.
 
Me. I didn't get killed by DUI assholes, or get my house burned down by assholes who illegally lid up a ton of fireworks in my neighborhood.
