Who knows if Trump will run again, but I DO know I would never vote Democrat again, only because they are a turn off to me personally. Can't really support DNC corruption, sanctuary cities, MSM news colluding w/ DNC undermining own viewer's intelligence with bias reporting, left's intolerance of other people's views (often with violence), left identifying everyone who is not Left as racist, intolerant, sexist, white, privileged etc

Look at this snow flake

Would love to, but unfortunately casting an absentee ballot would require filling out at least 1- 2 forms. Otherwise, trump 2020! I'm sure enough other people will do the right thing.

Per the thread title, I'm more interested in the why rather than just the willingness to do do it again.

Why? Because "we won." Because "fuck your feelings." Because these idiots think this is some kind of spectator sport. Because they don't know shit about shit and will happily throw the country if not the world into a permanent death spiral just for shiggles.

When its time to return to the voting booth I will vote for whomever is running against him. Trump is used to doing whatever he wants and now that he's president he cannot change his stripes which is getting him into trouble. If he were impeached during this term it wouldn't' come as a surprise.

The irony here is that people dumb enough to vote for a selfish, deceitful, ignorant, lazy billionaire are the same people who honestly believe they should be given 50k jobs.

Dumb people be dumb cause no education. I do dare speculate that getting into a position where you are able to educate yourself on rational constructs is way too hard in America? Just speculating here.

Trump supporters will just never learn. I mean they have been voting to destroy their own middle class prosperity for 40 years. They want free markets, but free market has no use for them and prefers robots and foreign labor. They still think that "job creators" who will screw their own country for a tax cut will not screw them to save money too. If you don't learn something in 40 years, you aren't going to learn it when you are an angry old geezer. We are seeing that with Trump now, a 70 year old man-child who never grew up. Just like his supporters never grew up, because it's always been easier for them to delude themselves with fake "greatness" than to do some tough self reflection and learn the right lessons.

What I do is I look at both candidates to make my final decision. Unlike most people, I'll vote either Democrat or Republican.

I would had voted for Trump but I didn't because I know of his track record in AC. I live in NJ so I've grew up watching the Donald on TV quite often. I knew he was narcissistic. I knew he had a bad temper. I knew that he screwed many good hard working people. I still remember the fight he had with an elderly lady who refused to sell her house so Trump could build his casinos. He built around the house.

If I had voted for Trump I wouldn't do it again. He's a liar. His fans are delusional. Then again, Hitler still has fans and many still believe that the Halocaust was made up.

The problem w/ these Trump fans is they are living in denial. Many are holding on to what America used to be like. A white America that lead the way in manufacturing. That ship has sailed a long time ago.

Instead of increasing their skill set to match the 21st century, they play the victim. Rule 1: Never EVER trust the government to fix your sh*t. I love the fact that they blame foreigners, but in reality they did it to themselves.

Now Trump is going to save them? Lol, yea ok.

Conservatives saw shit sandwiches on the menu and thought it would be fun to order one. Now they're staring unhappily at their plate and wondering why everybody else at the table is pissed off.

This is exactly what National Socialism (NAZI) is according to Trotsky. The middle class, largely white gentiles, has been decimated and are now struggling to stay above poverty level. They blame the government, Hispanics, Jews, Arabs, and the Muslim religion for destroying their white Christian way of life. Trump created a cult of personality railing against all of this and now these people are his flock.

Hopefully the normal folks who just have conservative leanings will eventually reject the cult and we can find a way back to the middle of the road.

I believe pcgeek has some buyers remorse. He'd vote Trump again if it's Trump vs Hillary someone else I'm not so sure, I'll guess and say if it was like Biden vs Trump he'd vote 3rd party or something similar.

@pcGeek has no self awareness. Look at all his back peddling and navigation of his own hypocrisy. He will never admit anything because his mind will never see any of it.

I maybe wrong but I believe pcgeek had a thoughtful and kind post in one of the Trumpcare threads. I'll say I only remember not agreeing with it but it wasn't the typical let them die and/or hospitals and insurers are businesses leave them alone.

the 50% of the electorate "dummies" are the same people in both scenarios you presented. it looks like you've got a one sided coin there.

I didn't vote for Trump, but I couldn't support Hillary (not that it made any difference in my state). I might be a dummy but I'm thinking not so much on this issue.

Sadly there wasn't anyone who was not disfavored and wanting in some way. Hobson's Choice is not a choice at all.

Repubs built the headsets you describe with decades of agitprop, preaching fear, uncertainty & distrust. They kept it at a simmer, kept their base nicely irrational enough to keep voting for trickle down economics. It's been Munchausen by proxy from Reagan forward.

They thought they could always control it. What they didn't like about Trump was that he was too blatant, that it would turn off too many voters, so they concentrated on turning off opposition voters by pushing an astounding double standard. Their own base, of course, loves Trump because he "tells it like it is", tells it the way they feel, openly panders to irrational fear, resentment & false pride. He exploits & lays bare the fundamental disconnect from reality they've been building for decades.
