So which car should I buy?

Due to a few full college scholarship offers 😉 I probably can get a brand new car now....
I'm thinking of an Audi A4 or Volkswagen Jetta GLS or GLX, in silver

Which one would you rather get, and why?

How is the A4 better? The performance of the two cars are fairly similar. Oh yea, I like these cars cuz they look great in silver, are speedy, and both have tiptronic transmissions

I (note I said I) feel that VWs are death traps on wheels.... especiallly the Bugs.
As for quality I (here's that I again) don't feel as though a VW is even clost to an Audi for quality (engine, interior, etc)

but that's me.... really you should get whichever car you want... i see more VWs on the road than Audis

Nissan Maxima, BMW 330i, BMW 530i/540i, Audi whatever. Whatever you get, get a manual transmission, you will have muchos more fun.

You could also look into an older BMW 740i. They are big boats - but they are SAFE, and they are not an SUV.

BUt depending on where you live, I would be inclined to get an Audi for the all wheel drive.

How could you say that. The bug is rated very hign for safety. the reliability, however, is a whole other story...

Audi A4 1.8T... a simple chip upgrade and boom... 😀
The Jetta definitely has less room than the Audi... the rear seats in the Jetta... whoops I said seats... the rear "things" in the Jetta don't even count. The A4 can at least seat 4 medium size adults comfortably. And for a college student, backseats can be very important for a variety of reasons 😛

One thing to consider is that the A4 is way more expensive than the Jetta

have you ever driven one?? i'm not a big guy... barely even average size but when i drove one and rode in one it felt like it was sooo cramped... i didn't like it at all... and to tell the truth i felt as if it was in an accident that it would just crumple up with me in it
