If Windows were unix-based, would that still qualify? Nope. The user interface is still different.

Mac OS X is as much a unix-like system as linux, and qualifies under the term "nix." So claiming the forums are full of nix users includes the Mac OS X people, so that isn't a reason to make a Mac specific forum.

I'm being absolutely serious, the only people I see approach the level of illogic and viciousness displayed in P&N are ipod/mac fans. P&N works for the political fanatics, so it stands to reason a Macintosh forum would work as well.
