I'm pretty ticked too. Apparently someone said that now they are waiting for their LAN game announcement in San Fran (I think in San Fran?)??? That's not supposed to be until 6:00 or 6:30 PST. This day has been a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. The release a retarded "be prepared" story in the news section of anandtech which says nothing except that it's new and fast. Big deal. Let's just hope ATI doesn't give us a date that means nothing when they release in two weeks :|

Please tell me you haven't been sitting at the computer refreshing AT HardOCP and Toms repeatedly waiting for news? Cause that *is* a waste of time ;-)

Supposedly there is some event tonight where the NV40 gets released. Everyone is under an NDA until that event starts (or ends?)... I thought that it was rather obvious that nVidia is doing one of those big marketing/PR events, and that they want to be the first to break the news there... that's how it works in the corporate world.

Oh come on guys! This is FUN. If we can't get excited about the release of massivly more powerful hardware, about which we know relativly little, than what are we doing spending time on sites like Anandtech and Tom's?
