So where do you put your dirty laundry?

I have 3 piles that I try to keep organized as follows:

clean
dirty
super dirty

Throw clothes in the general direction of hamper. Most of the time they end up in the hamper, but once the hamper fills up, they go on the floor next to the hamper. I really need to do laundry, but they turned off the water in the laundry room at the apartment complex yesterday, and I've got class tonight so I gotta do it tomorrow.

I tried that but mom lives on the east coast and besides the mail cost and turn around time would not make it worth it.

whatever you do, just make sure you put it somewhere with plenty of circulation (ex. not a trash bag), otherwise it will start smelling really quickly
