So when is Gateway shipping our GeForce 4's?

Like a lot of people on this board, I also picked up a GeForce 4 Ti card. I just couldn't pass up the price plus free shipping and $50 instant rebate. $235 for a Ti 4400 is a steal considering I paid $350 for my Ti 500. Anyway, I heard Gateway has changed the original ship date of 3/5/02. Can anyone confirm this? I know EB isn't going to get the Ti 4400's in until around the 9th. I was at Best Buy today and they had the VisionTek Ti 4600's on the shelf. I was really tempted to just pick one up but came to my senses real quick. $400 isn't pocket change and considering it's not much faster then the Ti 4400 I just couldn't do it.

the instant rebate expired on the 28th of feb. it was a coupon code actually.

according to techbargins... the one that expires on 3/10 is $50 off $300.

I called gateway yesterday and they said my TI 4600 would was do to them 3/8. I do not look for them to ship until the 9th or so. They initially said my order would ship 2/27. So who knows?

Uhm, just FYI on this... but they do NOT have them in stock. The boxes you saw are empty and are for pre-orders ONLY. I just went to buy one.

Yes BB does have these in stock. I bought one today. I am gonna use it until my gateway one comes in and then return it. I am a little dissapointed. It is much faster than my current card but I still can't play tribes 2 with AA and anistropic filtering on. With no tweaking my 3dmark 2001 was 11080. This is on a P4 2.2 GHz northwood with 256 MB DDR.

Well whatever... you conveniently have your profile turned off so I can't see your location. However, I went to a few stores in the Cleveland, OH area to buy one, and they all said the same thing..... "those are empty boxes for pre-orders. We don't stock them yet".
