"Officially", you stop growing when you reach your maximum height, and not a moment sooner.

If I dont grow anymore and stay 5'9, I will not date a girl bigger than 5'4.

I need the edge and the power to feel like a man...

SAME HERE :( I hate chicks my height... no matter how hot, they lose a certain element - ha! So what if I'm insecure like that? :|

The main reason I chose 5'4 is because they always wear those damn clunky shoes to make them bigger ;)

Why cant we go back to the 70's when men could wear spiked 7 inch heels like John Travolta without being lame? :D lol

I grew 1-1/2 inches after age 22 (stopped before I turned 23) to finally make 5'9".

It's possible.

Men "officially" stop growing taller when they stop growing taller. There is no "official" only "averages".

Awesome, what was your growth pattern like, did you keep track (I can understand if you didn't) - just trying to realize if I have a somewhat, good chance ;)

Growth pattern?

Hmm, well I hit 5'7" in High School (Freshman) and grew another 1/2 inch by my Senior year. Althought I developed normally, I just looked really young (in Ireland at age 19, I was getting half-fares on the bus for age 14). I also got into sports late (early 20s) because of chronic bronchitis through Jr and Hi School.

I was 5'-71/2" tall at the beginning of my 22nd year, by my 23rd birthday I grew 1-1/2 inches more in a final big spurt.

Actually, I was kind of glad.

:D

Good show, I hope I am as fortunate as you are, although I can understand what you mean by looking young, that happens to me a lot too.

One of my friends was rather short - 5'5" and considered growth hormone therapy (he was obsessed with his height). His doctor talked him out of it (evidently there are possible complications from it).

I really believe - if you are inactive now - that vigorous regular exercise might be very helpful.

EDIT: Good luck in getting your wish. :)

I've been quite active for the past few years... very active! I plan on continuing it. Good luck to me and n2v.

Yeah good luck GG :)

I hope the best for both of us...but hey, even if we never grow again, we are still an average height.

Remember...there's some guys out there who are 5'2 or something. Remember Bud Bundy?

He always has girlfriends...
