Work first, play later
Key to a stress free life. Actually implementing it is the hard part
It's a principle my dad taught me back in high school. I wasn't doing so hot in school and he was like, "work first, play later", which basically means as soon as you can, do your work first, then take time to play. I used to come home and screw around, eat some food, surf the net, watch tv, read a book, do anything other than my homework, and before I knew it, it was 11:30pm and my homework wasn't done. So I'd stay up past midnight working on it, then have to wake up for school the next day and feel like trash because I was tired. Then the cycle would repeat itself. Applying that principle in my life in that situation means that I should do my homework
right after I got home rather than waiting. Once you've done your duty, you're free to do whatever you want. If you don't do it first, the time just slips away. So, work first, play later = live a happier life
