I can't remember the member's name for sure (think it was JohnnyGuru, something like that). He would post stories (and I think he had a webpage) about his frustrations providing tech support to people.

jonnyGURU is still a member here, in fact he's a mod. You could probably find what you want with a search.

The P&N forum was created around 2003 when the United States invaded Iraq.

Not sure what I posted in this thread ~5 years ago, but I hope it had something to do with Hot Deals and free T-shirts, because that is easily the most memorable, or tangible, thing I have ever gotten from these forums. Now it is just abstract things like loss of faith in humanity, a laugh or two, and contempt/cynicism.
