CCG cards when I was younger (not all that long ago... I was even young enough for Pokemon back around 2000--I wasn't even 10 yet, FFS)
Picking out a $2K Dell for the family when I was 11 and didn't know a damn thing about computers (but by some measure it could have been cheaper compared to the old machine--the previous computer was a $4000 PowerMac 100MHz running System 7 from 1996! Maybe I'll try and put some sort of Linux on that old thing.) Sadly, I knew the most out of any of us, and even that wasn't worth a damn. It's a 2.0A (most expensive they had) with 512MB of PC800 and a GF2MX (I definitely didn't know what the hell a graphics card was then).
