So what's the main differences between Muslims and Christians?

Just wondering.

I'm not 100% certain, but I do know that both religious groups know to post in the proper forum. 😉

The prophet Mohommad, that's pretty much what it all boils down to.

Now that this thread has served its purpose, I ask you, why do we call it cheesecake if it's really a pie?

Christians: Jesus was the last prophet, is the son of God/God himself (sorry, the Trinity stuff never made sense to me).

Muslims: Jesus was a prophet, but Muhammad followed him and was the last one. Muhammad and Jesus are both mere mortals. Muhammad spent a couple of nights up in Heaven and talked directly to God to learn what he wants of humanity - those lessons/rules are contained in the Koran, which is the infallible word of God.

Muhammad was the prophet for muslims whom spoke the word of God to the people. Jesus was just another prophet, not the Messiah. The Messiah has yet to come in the Muslim fiath as well.

omg, you have inspired me, and I have at last found the answer to this most pressing question. What will this thread uncover next?

Jews - no bacon
Christians - bacon
Muslims - no bacon

Clearly the Christians are right because they can eat bacon. MMM bacon!

Yup. Ancient predictions predict that World War 3 will pit the bacon-eaters versus the non-bacon-eaters. So, at last, the Jews and Muslims will work together!

Curveball: What's the main difference between Muhammad and Joseph Smith? 😛

Christianity helps you walk on water.
Islam helps you fly your horse.

Ok, you have 2 flying horses against 10,000 water walkers. Who wins?

The flaming Buddhists.

Christians: Jesus is God, God is triune (meaning 3 aspects of His being as revealed to us, not that He is 3 different gods), Bible is authoritative Word of God, salvation is needed to enter into God's kingdom, salvation comes by grace (unearned, solely because God chooses us, but that knowledge leads to a life of service to Him)

Muslims: Jesus was a prophet, Bible is corrupted, Allah is God, Muhammad is the Prophet of God, the Qur'an is their source of truth, salvation and entrance into Paradise comes from living a life pleasing to Allah (living according to pillars, etc)

Different kinds of hats.

-Allah

You're thinking of Catholics. Jesus, nor the disciples, never wore a hat. The Pharisees wore boxes on their heads, though, which was an overly literal interpretation of OT text which meant that a person should meditate on Word of God, and put it to practice (thoughts and actions).
I mean, it wouldn't be sacrilege to put on a Yankee's cap or anything (unless you are a baseball fan), but Christians don't wear hats for religious purposes.
