It has been a while. I don't download music, but listen to the radio all the time.

The last CD I bought was Jewel- Goodbye Alice in Wonderland

CD: Natalie Imbruglia: Counting Down the Days. I bought it a few months ago.
Unfortunately, it's got the "pop" mastering treatment - dynamic range compression may be acceptable in some cases, but this album took it to the extreme. Fortunately, her voice is still audible over the "background" music, but it almost gets drowned out at times.

Napster: Anything by Sarah McLachlan. Yeah, Napster. It's a "free" basic subscription comes with tuition at college, so I might as well make use of it. I don't like most of her stuff, but she's got a few that I really like. Touch, Sad Clown, Steaming, and Ben's Song are good.

How do you like the SACDs? I like jazz and a lot of Keith Jarrett's stuff. But I only have the regular CD formats.

It doesn't mean I don't listen to music anymore...just that I don't buy CDs

Not his best work, but a Death cd is always great.

Well, it's my first Death CD and a friend suggested it. So far I like it, but I just got it this morning. It takes me some listenings to get a taste for albums. I specially like the second track; it has a nice, thrashy headbaning feeling. That's always good. I'll probably get another Death CD soon.

Any recommendations as to which one I should get next?

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong..it's a great album, but it doesn't touch Symbolic or Human IMO. Those are the classic Death albums for me.

I forgot, I finally found a copy of Ben Folds Live with the bonus DVD last week and ordered it. But it was from a private seller, so the RIAA probably still thinks I'm a thief.
