Played basketball with buddies in the morning for 3 hours, some more in afternoon, and some more at 2AM.

yeah, worst workout ever. i think we all died.

I think I did something similar to that before in practice a while back, I remember everyone's expression when we found out the day's practice. My pace was probobly around 70 seconds on most of them.
edit: I forgot about the time I went biking for almost 20 miles, that was pretty bad as well.

Not too sure what the hardest workout I've ever done is, but the hardest thing I've ever done would have to this one half-marathon I did in September. I'm a decent runner and I love distance running, but this half was insane. It was very hilly, but I was still averaging about 6:20s for each mile, even with the hills. Then, at mile 11, came the biggest, steepest hill I've ever had to run up. It slowed me down to a 7:35. I was crawling up it and my quads were burning like hell. Then I had to finish the race feeling like I was going to puke (my stomach was upset the whole race too and that made it worse) and with quivering legs. The hardest workout might be repeat miles at 5:30 pace, 5-6 of them.

It was, by far, the hardest physical challenge I've ever done.

Edit-Yes, I rode a bicycle 100 miles in one day. In fact, it took me just over 6 hours to ride that distance.

Wow. Was that on the PCH or 405?

Wheelbarrowing concrete uphill, in the mud, in the dark - no joke. Also did some pretty hard workouts when I did martial arts a few years ago. Like run along a beach in the soft sand or up to the knees in water, stop for some pushups, run back, repeat.

probably the two 25 ton loads of hay that I helped 'barn' one day. I remember my arms could not hang at my sides afterward. They would rise up so my elbows were about 10 inches away from my ribs.
