I really don't get what's so funny about it...

He says game preferences are subjective, and then he says that BF2 owns all, which obviously is also subjective since he says it's completely subjective... he prefers BF2 over everything else he tried obviously... I'm ermmm... I'm kinda at lost here, was there any pun I didn't noticed or anything else?

CSS and TF2 for now. I sit and wait for something good to spring up, which will hopefully be Left 4 Dead. Far Cry 2 has got some attention from me, but not enough to buy it on launch day unlike what I'll be doing on L4D's launch date.

omg id never heard of L4D until i read your post, its looks top and is out in November theres a few vids on youtube.

I really enjoyed BF2, might reinstall that again.

Lately it's been all TF2 for me.

I also own BF2142, but I haven't clocked any significant amount of playtime on it. It either crashed too much under Vista or I just never got into it. Might be time to (re)install.

meh, i bought the BF2:complete due to the suggestions from this forum and after about 2 weeks, i hate it! as buggy 2142 is, i still find it a better game than BF2 by a wide margin. it's just well balanced and dealt with some of the annoying things from BF2 like insta-prone kill aka dolphin diving. i figure once you put in the time to learn BF2 it might be better, but i don't think i have the patience anymore after doing so with 2142. BF2 is much more unforgiving, as i can't go anywhere on vehicle maps without getting blown up by air power and i can't go anywhere without being nade spammed on the infantry maps. back to 2142 for me, BF2 felt like such a backwards game compared to 2142 (things like no tank canon zoom, no way to circumvent claymore, weak AA, and no sniper rifle mouse wheel zoom to name a few). i had such high hopes for BF2, for a while i've been hearing how much it's better than 2142, but to me its been a huge disappointment. at least it was only $29.

COD4 is just a nadespam fest. TF2 can be fun if people actually play it how it's supposed to be played which is far and far between because the game is HEAVILY team based. I haven't played UT3 but from what everyone is saying, I'm sticking with UT2k4.

I hated Cod4 when I first played it. The nades did not bother me, the spawn killing drove me crazy. A complete auto run and gun spawn killing waste of time. But then I was doing a LOT of server hoping. And yes, there are some great servers that limit players numbers, have custom maps that are awesome and have things like spawn protection. The problem is that you have download mods, maps and get used to the new maps. It all takes time. (and the mod servers are not ranked, and you lose your rank when you start out there.) I prefer sniping servers without autos. When you do find these servers I don't think you can beat the game. If you find a 24/7 shipment server to spawn kill and gain rank you don't deserve, well it sucks then. I could not take BF2 though. I also play TF2 and enjoy that too, but it is a completely different crowd and game.
