So... what's the best Star Wars Movie?

Either A New Hope or Empire Strikes Back, the original unedited versions. The 3 prequel movies aren't fit to be coasters and shouldn't even be considered.
 
I like the all the old ones but I am gonna have to go with Return of the Jedi...I don't know why I just like that one. Everyone loves The Empire Strikes Back...and yeah its good but its too much of a downer for me.
 
Empire wouldnt be so great if you knew who Darth Vader was.

I think honestly that episode 4 is the best. But I voted for ESB
 
Everyone here is going to say Empire. It is generally said to be the favorite, especially among only sort of fans. I am a big fan of A New Hope.
 
Return of the Jedi. I just got into the Jedi Knight nonsense.



While Revenge of the Sith was terrible movie it still has a warm place in my heart as it caused some Bushies to self-identify with evil and demonstrated that they lacked the sense to be embarrassed about it.

Meh, it is my favorite because it was the one I remember enjoying the most the first time I saw it. All of the original three are pretty good movies :thumbsup:
 
Either A New Hope or Return of the Jedi. Until Episode I came out, I liked Empire Strikes Back the least.
Episode I unfortunately was meant to be a kid's movie. Hook them when they're young to maximize the merchandising potential, then slowly ramp up the violence as the audience gets older.

Episode III was alright, but it was rather depressing, what with all the Jedi being killed. Depressing in a different sense too was their pathetic defense against the Clone Troopers. These were the Jedi who survived Geonosis, so you'd think they'd have some good skills, but apparently they can still be shot in the back quite easily.
Empire Strikes Back was a downer in a similar sense.

WTF is the deal with everyone loving on Empire Strikes Back?

Is it just because thats when you find out Vader is his father?

I thought the training with Yoda slowed the movie down to much.
 
Empire. ROTJ was a little unbelievable. I mean c'mon, Ewoks defeating the Stormtroopers? That was a little too Hollywood. I hate Ewoks!

I'm a huge fan of the entire series no matter what anyone says...my favorite movie was empire....but my favorite scene was with Darth Maul fighting Qui-Gon and Kenobi in Phantom Menace....
 
The Empire strikes back is my favorite by far overall.

Of the newer three I actually liked Attack of the clones the best.

I agree. The ewoks were way too damned hokey and ridiculous.
