So whats on the A+ cert exam?

While the cert is full of outdated useless crap, plenty of companies & positions require this as a prerequisite. So it IS a useful cert to have, but it's just impractical.

I took it in March, and seriously, that test is a joke. They removed all the IRQ and COM port crap and replaced it with "customer service" questions. Something like "While working on a customer's laptop and you determine you need to reformat it, what would you do?"

The practice tests from the late 90's - early 2000's is much harder than what the test is now.

Back up their internet favorites and then format it seven times to be sure the virus on boot sector zero is gone of course. That was easy - next please.
