Not too much going on here. The boy is doing awesome, work is busy, and I have a cold. Tax refund should be in any time which is always a good thing.

my work schedule changed so that I'm working Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday. as a result, I = have no life. haven't seen my friends or family in weeks, because they're at work on my days off, and I'm at work on their days off.

Already have the college apps filled out and have been accepted where I wanted to go... now I've got all these forms and essays and sh!t to write for scholarships (I need money, badly!).

Other than that, nothing very interesting is happening. :(

Interning in Nephrology, pretty sure that's what I'll make my specialty. I started out thinking I wanted to do Internal Medicine, but I got an internship with a nephrologist and I absolutely love it. There are some awesome dialysis patients that I like spending time with.

I try not to think of the debt I have/will have. :(

once upon a time, I used to meet my mom, dad, and sibling in NYC for Friday night dinner ;) afterwhich I'd meet these people called "friends" and do things other than cleaning my apartment and doing laundry. hehe.

edit: and then my boss decided to give me the shaft by having me be the only person in the department forced to work all weekend :|

LOL...I was thinking of neffrology :)

Ever looked into endocrinology? (SP) I would love to get into that, but there is no way I could at this point in my life.

I already have my PhD in neffrology. :)

I've never really had any personal experience in endocrinology, so I couldn't really make a decision about it until I start rotations in medical school. With the prevalence of diabetes, nephrology and endocrinology are "long-hours" fields, that's for sure.

Both are very rewarding though, I am sure. I really have a lot of respect for anyone in the medical pfield. It takes a certain kind to see people at their worst, but treat them with humanity and respect. Good luck my friend.
