You call timeout, this means you still want to play for real. Even UCLA's coach said he was disappointed to give up the TD after the timeout. His team was in a Prevent defense and still allowed a wide open receiver down the field.

That was a cowardly BS timeout by Neuheisel, and a bad@ss facial by USC.

Agreed... WHy did Neuheisel call that timeout?? WTF? You think he would've called it against any other team? Nope. He got what he deserved.

By calling timeout, Neuheisel signaled that he still wanted to play. What's SC supposed to do? Just run it on every play and give the ball back to UCLA? The celebration was over the top though.
