So, what would ATOT be like if we had a drunk post prevention method?

Well the proliferation of threads tonight that are a bit on the bizarre side (even by ATOT standard) I've come to the conclusion that we have either a fair number of 12 year olds here or a fair number of drunken posters. This is more of a theoretical question than anything but I saw the recent story about Google having a service available that would make it harder for you to send emails while drunk on your gmail account. So what do you guys think ATOT would be like if we had a similar measure in place? More sane, less sane, about the same? No I'm not proposing that we do this, just an academic question really.

You deserve a :beer: for some of the craziness I've seen the past couple weeks. Here's to you guys. I'm just glad that I'm not a mod, I'm not sure how long I would last before I went bonkers.
 
Does it really matter in the end? It's 2am man, you should expect these kind of antics. The kind of people that post meaningful stuff at this time of night shouldn't be awake.

Drunk post prevention? Like Google's Drunk Email prevention program, I forget what they call it? It presents mathematical problems to solve before allowing the email, or post, to be sent.

I haven't used it, but a lot of people on AT are good at math, so I don't think it'd actually solve anything.

if i had to solve some dumbass math problem every time i post, i'd be pissed. that's just a waste of precious neffing time 😛
 
I think that if there was, the geniuses of OT would program some type of bypass program, and all would be back to normal 🙂
