President Bush is going to declare Marshaw law in the morning, So I am stocking up on booze, condoms, beer, cheetos, cheeze wiz, and toilet paper.

That's all I need to survive.

Edit: I am saving alot (i mean A LOT) of porn to my HD now in case the internet crashes as well.

The best time to buy stock is generally when there's a major dip like this, but personally I'm going to wait it out for a little bit before getting back in, things can still get a whole lot uglier....

Doing opposite of chicken little usually works for me. I see unusual large numbers of chicken little on this forum and elsewhere on the internet and the news. That's usually a good sign we're going to get a tradeable bounce soon. If we open down big, I'll be holding my nose and buying for Turnaround Tuesday reversal. That said, I think our ultimate destination is lot lower than the current level. That doesn't mean we'll get there in a straight line. There will be plenty tradeable bounces along the way.

No reason to buy condoms; you will need as many children as possible to work on the subsistence farm you will apparently be living on after TEH STOCK MARKTE CRASH!!11

Ha......if that's doing something to prepare...i've been preparing for tomorrow for more than a decade.

:Q

Big names were predicitng Dow 6000 at the end of this year. Others are predicitng Dow 14,750.

At Dow 9000. I'm buying.

Anyone that listened to the economic doomsayers for the last 20 years wouldn't have any money to invest in the first place. Fortunately I ignored them so even if they are right for once and tomorrow there's a market crash (unlikely), I'll still be way ahead once it's all said and done.

Well, I've called the bottom about 4 times in the last month and been wrong all 4 times! I'd love to buy in some more, unfortunately, buying in on my 4 false bottoms has tapped my cash reserves. I'm just going to sit tight and let it happen. Definitely not selling now.

Sit tight and buy when the contributions go in. Selling now will only cause downward pressure on the market and eventually, if enough steam, cause a crash.

I'm not buying anything tomorrow. I'm going to sit back and see what happens. I have a feeling that we are in for a rough few months.

Idiots. "Recession fears"? Bunch of alarmist crap. There needs to be 2 straight quarters of economic shrinkage for there to be a recession. That's 6 months. So far there have been 0 months. We can start talking about a recession when there's been 3-4 months.

I thought it was 3 quarters?
