I don't believe in pick up lines. I thought, "fvck this" and went up to her, we've never talked before. I said, "You're Jen(Nelli) right? I'm Andy. I was wondering if you would like come to this Coffee shop/open mic night that our ministry is sponsoring...

Since then, we've been talking everyday after class. And about one week later, I stopped her before we about to part.

Me: Excuse me. 😱
Cutie: *turns around* Yea? (with that adorable puzzled look)
Me: *ahem* *scratching my head* I was wondering if you would like to go watch a movie with me this weekend...
Cutie: *pause* ... Sure!
Me: 😀 😀 😀
Cutie: Well ok.. See ya later 😉
Me: Wait, I'd need your number to contact you this weekend...
Cutie: *blushes* haha oh yea...

We exchanged our info.. She later told me that she couldn't stop smiling like a goofball for the rest of the walk home.. So was I, needless to say... 🙂

We were both at a party while in college. I was kinda looking at her, she was kinda looking at me. After a walking past her a few times over the course of the evening I finally decided to suck it up and introduce myself. It's the only time in my life I've ever just started talking to a woman without some kind of introduction. Glad I did tho, since she's now my wife of 5 years. 😀

We were both piss drunk and just kinda ended up together one night 😉. Been together for 10 years now 😀.


Just kidding about that first part 🙂. We did meet at a party in my dorm room, and we were drunk, but we didn't "end up together" for quite a while 😀.
 
I used the technique of dating her best friend first 😉 I couldn't figure out if she was available or not. She seemed interested, but always had lots of guys hanging around her (she just saw them as friends; as I guy, I knew better how the actually saw her.) I decided to date her best friend for awhile since she seemed interested, plus it would allow me to hang around and figure out the other situation. I had an ok time with her friend, but I just really clicked with my future GF. After breaking up with her best friend, we started dating. Unfortunately, they no longer remained best friends (not just because of me, because there were other issues they had), but it worked out well for me. I dated her for the next 6 years and by next week we'll have been married for 3 years 😀

I just started talking with her and everything else just kind of fell into place. Wasn't even looking for a relationship when it all started.

We (Jenn and I) were in college at the time, both completing our 4th semesters. I had been single for about 6 months, and wasn't really looking for a relationship. A mutual friend of ours, by the name of Cammie, told me that this girl named Jenn had a thing for me. "Cool!" I thought, as she was a cutie. Unbeknowest to me, Cammie had also gone to Jenn and said "You should go after Blake, he has a crush on you." This of course, was before I really knew who Jenn was... 🙂 I apparently became sport at that point, as Jenn had gotten out of a relationship 3 weeks prior...

Long story short, we're getting married Next September, which will be about 5 years after getting together..

I went to school.

During English class she was bitching about how her boyfriend wouldn't take her to see "Silence of the Lambs" because he didn't want to see it. Sooooo, being the kind person I am, I stepped up and offered. 😉

I've seen the girl in question around the campus a lot, we've even been introduced but never really spoke to her or anything.

So now it's my last year of college. I walk into a bar with some friends and bump into her. She jumps up comes up to me gives me a hug and otherwise starts acting like we've known each other forever. I thought she was drunk but she wasn't. We spent the whole night talking and I got quite drunk cuz all my friends kept giving me free shots. So in the end I start feeling sick and she takes care of me (brings me water etc).

Next day I bump into her in the study lounge (not by accident 😉), and tell her

"What you did yesterday was very nice of you. I didn't realize how much I had to drink that night. Is there anyway I can repay you, like Olive Garden tonight at 8pm, dinner's on me."

Her: "I love Olive Garden".

Me: "Ok, I'll pick you up at 7:30, I gotta go now run some errands (I dind't have any errands to run)"

Her with a smile: "See you at 7:30"
