Backstory:
Girlfriend's friend was house sitting for me over the last 4 days.
Situation:
I'm not this person's hugest fan, she wouldn't do anything malicious. I, however, strongly dislike her boyfriend and his friends. I brought this up with my girlfriend who suggested that I throw her a bone and take a leap of faith and ask her just to help her out financially and what not.
Issue 1:
The ground rules were very simple, while I was semi-comfortable with her boyfriend staying over, her friends coming over was simply not allowed.
While I was taking the recycling out tonight, I noticed that there was a bottle of vodka, 24 beer cans (of beers that I don't drink so I know they weren't mine), and 2 huge bottles of corona in my glass box.
I'm 99% certain it was her boyfriend and his friends, it's weird enough for him to be sleeping in my bed, it's even weirder for them to be having people over.
Issue 2:
There were some scheduling issues with this girl, she was supposed to go on vacation today but that was canceled, because of that we chose her. Yesterday I got a text saying she was leaving this morning because she had decided to go on vacation, this left our house empty, and our dog alone for 16 hours.
This wouldn't be a huge issue but last year our house was broken into and everything was stolen, hence the reason for someone staying in our house. Her working for us was contingent on her being available for all 4 days.
So.. what now?
What should I do? The obvious thing is to not have her back, that's definitely going to happen.. I don't want her back.
I am yet to pay her so I'm not sure if I should mention anything when I do it, or should I just let it slide.
The house was in decent shape, and my dog isn't dead.. I guess that's one good thing.
Cliffs:
-Took a leap of faith and asked girlfriend's friend to house sit
-Simple ground rules: No boyfriend's friends
-Ground rule broken
-She left a day early
Okay, now what?
