Does every California student apply to UC everything? It seems like the Rutgers of California (no offense to the many RUers here)..

Oh wow, that's pretty much all the schools I applied to when I was a senior.

Actually...USC I didn't think I was going to apply to 'til last minute really.

Then UCB and UCLA screwed me over (grr), so it was between UCSD (got into muir) bioengineering and USC BUAD (i got in as a business scholar. berkeley and la rejected me and i get in directly to the school of business at sc. go figure).

I chose the latter, since my mind is more business oriented. undergrad program seemed pretty inflexible to me and I like the sciences...so...now I'm a physics major. :D

When I apply to grad school...I dont' really wanna apply to UCLA and UCB again :p

GL everyone.

Considering they are the best public schools in California... yes. Only for very specific reasons would a person looking to stay in California choose a Cal State over a UC.

Also considering that you just check the boxes and you're done. Not to mention for UC's you don't need letters of recs

Last year, I applied to Drexel, Pitt, and Shippsensburg(no intention there though)...I really should have challenged myself and applied somewhere more prestigious(like that little school across the street from me..oh yea Penn..I hate them with their old ornate buildings and clean lighted walkways and huge dorms lol), but oh well, I'm happy here at Drexel.
