Did anybody else roll their eyes when Morris went out to a gas station for a Red Bull fix?

I mean, what, CTU doesn't have a break room in the office?

they are all about stopping terrorists, yet they have the dumbest fvcking people working for them, and they have atleast 1 mole a season. same goes for the people in the white house.

there are too many scenes this season where i could give examples, but i think that is kind of what I remember about it from last season.

Well This Season, Let's See:
When they let Jack Bauer's dad talk to his son without someone in the room, which obviously led to him killing his son.

Also, when Bauer's Dad could walk around CTU unobserved like if he owned the place....made even more ridiculous when he was still a probable suspect in the whole nuclear bomb plot.

TO ME THIS SMACKS OF LAZY, BAD, BAD WRITING!

IMO, '24' is killing off newer characters without developing them enough for somebody to care. Plus, they're killing off established characters in weak, asinine, unheroic manners (like Tony Almeda, his wife, and the black dude from his season).

This show is losing it's grip. I guess it's inevitable as the Producers get rich and uncaring and the turnover churn of good writers (replaced by bad ones) who go to do their own studeio development deals.

I remember when Fonzie jumped the shark in Happy Days.

There was a circle of nets keeping a hungry shark captive inside it with a ski ramp right next to it. Fonzie got on some ski's, the boat started pulling him to get up to speed, then the episode ended ... making me wait 24 hours till the next day for the exciting conclusion. Oh, the suspense!

Maybe they do. The reason he did was to go for a walk outside.

"Any 24 fan can tell you..."

Speak for yourself. Jack Bauer is still greater than ALL in my book. I love the show- I am kind of mad that Tony, and Michelle, and Curtis have died. I kinda wish Kim was still in shown every once in a while (I guess Nadia makes up for that :) )

haha yeah. My room-mate in college stopped watching after about 5 episodes into season 2. He put it best "It's just the same thing over and over again".

The more important question is why take shows like this seriously. It's based in a current fictional land that resembles the USA.
Just enjoy it.

i guess you don't understand the meaning of jumping the shark huh.

no one in this thread said anything about taking the show seriously. i mean how can you take a show seriously when they don't even eat or drink or shlt or piss in a day?

People have eaten on the show. Not often though, and it's not that crazy to not eat if you're involved in catching terrorists all day. It's not like they're gonna show Jack at McDonald's eating some chicken nuggets anyway. As far as sh!tting, going a day without doing it is hardly crazy. Peeing on the other hand, might be hard. ;)

lmao could you picture the clock showing the seconds ticking away at the beginning of the show...and as it fades in it's Jack in a stall with a wad of toilet paper in his hand? Or Chloe drinking iced-tea

I'm convinced that 24 is based in a bizarro fantasy world where people choose technology solely based off of how cool it looks or sounds.

Why else would everyone in CTU only be using Macs now? :)

Gigantic jump the shark moment for me when Jack is willing to risk the safety of the world and steal the two back pack nukes and give them to the Chinese just to save Audry. I am through with this show.

He wasn't giving the Chinese backpack nukes. He was giving them a card that would allow them into Russian military hardware. Regardless, he had a bomb rigged so it wouldn't come to that anyway.

CTU: Jack's gone rogue. Put Jack under arrest. What? He escaped?
Bad guy: Kill him! What? He escaped?
Dammit!

Well I turned off the show when he got the call from the Chinese agent who had Audry. Great first 4 or 5 seasons. Put a fork in it.

For me it was this past week when Chloe and Baldy got into a fight and Baldy asked to be moved to a new department. These are supposed to be the best of the best protecting our country during a crisis and everyone from Milo, to Chloe, to Baldy, is worried about getting their feelings hurt or having little crushes like they were in JR. High. I'll watch until the end of the season b/c I'm invested this far. But I can't argue that it has jumped the shark.
