I wanted to see if this thing would be any good to shave random chest hairs and trim the underarms, but I can't tell what exactly it IS and whether it's just a sham

My brother's wife bought one and said it worked for crap so she sent it back. As with most "As Seen on TV" things, buy them in a store if you can so when you return them, you aren't out shipping....
