So what is the primary instant messaging program you and your friends use?

Personally it's MSN Messenger. I don't know anyone using ICQ or AIM.

Asia = ICQ
USA = AIM and MSN.

I always find these types of threads interesting. I know not a single person that uses an IM program other than AIM anymore. Back in the day, people used ICQ, but that's long gone. I have never met a person who uses Yahoo or MSN messengers.

we need to have one of these threads where people include their age and region to try to detect a trend in IM usage, cause it always surprises me when people like scouzer say they use MSN for school. here in PA where I go to high school everyone uses AIM, the only people with MSN are those who need to communicate with online-only friends.

Can't stand AIM as the setup takes too long and puts too many things in Windows Startup. Plus, the emoticons stink.
